About Attestic
Attestic is a cryptographic provenance gateway for AI. It sits in front of every frontier and open-weight model and makes a simple guarantee: every call is policy-routed, metered with real token usage, and written to a tamper-evident, Ed25519-signed audit record that anyone can verify offline.
We don't claim to make AI correct, safe, or free of errors. We prove what happened — who called, which model, when, how many tokens, what it cost — with a receipt as tamper-evident as a blockchain entry but verifiable with a single Python script.
Operational, not epistemic
Attestic is operational trust — provenance of process. It records what the system did, not whether the answer was right.
Verifiable offline
Every receipt includes an Ed25519 signature, entry hash, and Merkle inclusion proof. Verify without vendor access.
Drop-in OpenAI compatible
Point your OpenAI SDK base_url at the gateway. Tool calls, streaming, JSON mode, embeddings — all forwarded.
